What to expect at Street Storage

It might be quite hard to picture, so we’ll take you through it.

Our layout

Although not exactly how we’re laid out. This gives you a rough idea of what our space looks like.

The Storage Unit

Our CEO getting a bag from one of the shelves in the storage unit.
A birdseye view of our larger storage unit.
Our second storage unit room which is smaller than the main.

Found safely behind two sets of locked doors. These are two rooms of shelving where people’s bags are stored safely. Only staff and volunteers can access this area.

We typically store between a few bags per person. Our storage unit at one time has roughly 713 bags in. Each bag has a designated shelf and a tag with an identifying number on.

Our “So much more than shelving”

The computer room

A computer desk with a computer on and a pot plant.

Known to be the quieter of our two chill spaces, the computer room has two computers, comfy chairs and sofas for relaxing and sorting through your belongings.

The welcome room

Two comfy chairs and a rectangle coffee table.

Our private space where someone visits when they first store with us to complete their check-in. We also do one-to-one support work in here for people who store with us, where we have the capacity to do so.

The coffee room

The office

Wide view of our office. There are 6 desks.

Thanks to a generous grant we’re able to provide quality coffee for everyone with our state of the art coffee machine. There’s a wall of infromation for other services and activites as well as comfy chairs to sort through your belongings in.

The team have their desks in here, but that doesn’t mean we’re confined to this space. We’re always open for a chat and a catch-up and anyone using the service can grab us when needed.
