Volunteer
Geordie joined Street Storage as a volunteer after using the service while he was on the street. Geordie has fundraised for us both through challenge events and art sales as well as taking the title of Street Storage’s Artist in Residence! Geordie assists with the physical handling of people’s luggage, shelving and donations.
He said about his volunteering: “I was on the street last year (2022). They helped me get back on my feet, then I have been here helping out and doing my art work. They are like a family here.”
