For a small charity like ours, this kind of support is transformative; it helps us provide more for the people who store with us and continue making a real difference.

February: Pancake Day Event
URC had the smashing idea to combine delicious pancakes with giving back to the community by hosting a pancake-making stall at their HQ.
Creative fundraising events like this get a whole community of people, including those who might not have been interested before, learning about our cause in a fun way. Allowing lovely people to learn about charities they might not have known about before.
May: Walk with weight
What a way to capture Street Storage in a fundraising event. Literally using one of the ways we make a difference to help shout the word about what we do, as well as raise funds for us through clear visual messaging.
Around 500****** people rely on us in a year to store their belongings for them. Keeping them safe and secure but also reducing the physical weight of carrying everything they own around with them daily.
We’ve met people develop health issues like foot issue just from not being able to afford public transport, let alone having to do all those journeys of getting around London on foot with the addition of lots of heavy bags.
Helen from URC really captured that aspect of how we help in her fundraisng event “Walking with weight” where she did this many miles carrying a heavy rucksack.
