Street Storage and Growth

Amanda, our new Replication Manager, explores her exciting plans for Street Storage’s growth into other cities…

“My first month at Street Storage has been a whirlwind, in the best way!”

I am thrilled to have joined the team and am excited for what’s in store over the next few months. I have completed my induction, getting up to speed with everything Street Storage, having one-to-ones with the staff, and becoming embedded in the organisation.

So far, I have made contact with key stakeholders for replications in a few different locations as well as meeting with some top-notch business mentors who are supporting and guiding the organisation through this exciting stage in the charity’s development. To support this, I have devised a detailed Project Plan and Flow Chart for the individual replication projects as well as a general Replication Strategy. This is followed by research into Licence Agreements and how they’ll be used to support the partnerships between the Street Storage HQ here in London and our future partner organisations.

Next, I will be finalising our Blueprint Pack that partner organisations will receive when they sign up to be a part of our Network, which I’ve already made good headway on - supported by the rest of the Street Storage team.

Over the next few months, I’ll be travelling the length and breadth of the country visiting sites and organisations that want to be a part of the ever growing Street Storage Partnership Network.

Once there, I’ll be leading on training and consultancy days alongside my colleagues from our Street Storage HQ, supporting partners every step of the way of their Street Storage journey as well as approaching, engaging and securing further city replications.

By the end of 2024, I plan for Street Storage to be in at least four different locations outside of London. How exciting!
